“Veterinary medicine is about trust, partnership, and showing up every day for the animals — and the people — who need you.”
Hi, I’m Dr. Jason Adam
I’m a small animal veterinarian based in Washington state, with a special interest in preventive care, client education, and strengthening the human-animal bond. Over the years, I’ve worked in general practice, urgent care, and high-volume settings, helping families navigate everything from routine wellness to difficult diagnoses.
My approach is rooted in clear communication, empathy, and evidence-based care. I believe that pet owners deserve a real partner in their animal’s health — someone who can explain options, answer questions, and treat each patient like their own.
What I Care About
- Empowering clients with clear, practical guidance
- Making vet visits less stressful for both pets and people
- Supporting teams and mentoring new vets entering the field
- Tackling preventable illness through proactive care
When I’m not in the clinic, I’m usually trail with our energetic Aussie, Rook, hanging out with our loud but lovable calico cat Sahale, or locked into a chess match.
Let’s Connect
This site is a home for my thoughts on veterinary medicine, helpful resources for pet parents, and maybe the occasional post about chess or backpacking. Thanks for visiting — I’m glad you’re here.
